My name is David Pons.

I was born in Barcelona, and I have lived most of my life in Mallorca. I am grateful for every experience that life has given me, even those that seemed like an obstacle at the time. My first love was football, although an accident at the age of 15 cut short my career as a player.

However, experiences on the field led me towards an even more challenging and enriching destiny: teaching and developing football talent.

My passion is football, but what really fulfills me is contributing to the growth of players and coaches,
sharing what I have learned on my journey and building a methodology that allows them to reach their full potential. This is how the Pons Method emerged, a methodology that respects the specificity of football and seeks to transform both individual and collective performance, with a comprehensive vision.
My training and career have expanded beyond the borders of Spain. I had the privilege of learning and applying these principles in teams in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Thailand, where I not only discovered different cultures and lifestyles, but also found the inspiration to adapt the Pons Method to diverse football realities.

I believe in the power of processes, in gamification to motivate and in the individualization of each training session so that players understand their specific role and develop within a collective system. I believe that every moment in football can be a learning opportunity, and that a good coach not only imparts technical knowledge, but also human values. My focus is on each player, at the end of a training session or a season, having not only improved as an athlete, but also as a person.

Football, like life, is a continuous process of adaptation. My mission is that any coach, player or member of the technical staff, regardless of the context or resources, can access this method.

The Pons methodology is more than a set of tactics; It is a model that allows us to live and understand football in a deeper way, understanding that true success is not only measured in trophies, but in the comprehensive development of those who participate in it.
